Charlotte explains the reason why she came to Rockland’s was to find direction – she was not sure what to do with her life and God led her here. Many opportunities were opened to her to explore her strengths and weaknesses. She is very excited as she finds her passion areas.
ROMERO MEYER, INTERN 2016
Romero is an 18 year old from Cape Town. He enjoys extreme sports and being outdoors. He will be studying Theology in 2017 and will also go into full time ministry. He is excited to be at Rockland’s knowing that it will prepare him to get his heart in the right place and to put other’s needs ahead of his own.
CAITLYN SHARMAN, INTERN 2016
Caitlyn comes from FishHoek with a love for animals, music and reading. She enjoys working with people and always finds it interesting to hear the experiences they share. She has a huge interest in youth ministry and is hoping that Rockland’s will show her a path with regards to it. She loves experiencing new things and says she knows that God is a part of this one!
MATTHEW STEMMET, INTERN 2016
Matt comes from a diverse background, being a missionary kid in Zambia for 8 years, he has had the opportunity to meet and interact with people from different cultural backgrounds. Matt explains that during his time in Zambia, his passion for the outdoors grew. Amongst this, he enjoys playing badminton, cycling and running.
NAKEATA CLAASEN, INTERN 2016
Nakeata is a vibrant 17 year old from Parkwood. She loves dancing and is a part of the CAPSDA dance group. She aims to study law after her internship. She is hoping her year at Rockland’s will grow her beyond her expectations.
