Emmanuel is all the way from Durban. He loves camping, travelling and working with kids. He believes that working at Rocklands is what he should be doing this year and hopes that he will learn a lot and take in everything that Rocklands has to offer him.
PATIENCE HARA, INTERN 2015
Patience is 18 years old and is originally from Malawi but has lived in Cape Town since the age of 6. She has matriculated from Good Hope Seminary Girls High School and explains that she has no idea which career path to choose. Her desire is to become a motivational speaker who will travel the world. Her two main priorities in life is God’s name and God’s word. Patience is creative, discrete and trusts God whole heartedly. “I know I will see Him one day”.
JOHAN HUGO, INTERN 2015
Johan was born and raised in Parow. He has just matriculated and is unsure what he wants to do next. He believes that God has sent him to Rocklands to make a clear decision on which career to follow. He loves reading, history and being outdoors.
CRYSTAL ABRAHAMS, INTERN 2015
Crystal is an 18 year old spiritual dancer from Grassy Park who completed her matric at Southern Suburbs Youth Academy. She became an intern at Rocklands Centre, trusting God; in hope that it would bring clarity as to what she wants to pursue next year.
SAKHUMZI KLAAS, INTERN 2015
Sakhumzi comes from Fort Beaufort, Eastern Cape. He loves God and people. He enjoys being outdoors and is absolutely passionate about youth ministry. He has served in the camping ministry while studying chemical engineering. He can see himself serving in full time youth ministry.
