Simon is a young matriculant from Wynberg Boys’ High School who has taken a year at Rocklands to wait on God for future study plans, whilst taking the opportunity to serve. He is a passionate drummer and is always keen to spark up a conversation with someone new! Although Simon’s light, red-headed, complexion ensures the sun to be his kryptonite, with enough SPF 50 and God’s vision for his life, he believes that 2014 will be a year of tremendous growth to prepare him for his life’s next step.
Matthew is a Simon’s Town local. He feels that God led him away from his studies to join the Rockland’s Solid Ground team. He enjoys music, the beach and a good game of soccer. He is studying teaching and feels that the internship program will help him to build new skills and responsibilities that he can apply towards his studies. His life goal is to one day be as tanned as fellow intern, Simon.
